Stop! In the name of loveBefore you break my heart
Baby, baby I'm aware of where you go
Each time you leave my door
I watch you walk down the street
Knowing your other love you'll meet
But this time before you run to her
Leaving me alone and hurt(Think it over)
After I've been good to you(Think it over)
After I've been sweet to you
Stop! In the name of love
Before you break my heart
Stop! In the name of love
Before you break my heart
Think it overThink it over
I've known of yourYour secluded nights
I've even seen herMaybe once or twice
But is her sweet expression
Worth more than my love and affection?
But this time before you leave my arms
And rush off to her charms(Think it over)
Haven't I been good to you?(Think it over)
Haven't I been sweet to you?
Stop! In the name of love
Before you break my heart
Stop! In the name of love
Before you break my heart
Think it overThink it over
I've tried so hard, hard to be patient
Hoping you'll stop this infatuation
But each time you are together
I'm so afraid I'll be losing you forever
Stop! In the name of love
Before you break my heart, baby, think it over
(Stop! In the name of love)
Think it over, baby
(Before you break my heart)
Ooh, think it over baby

E.: Cal.E, why don’t you want d.c. to know what happens to T. Puppy Katt in the future? Knowing may better prepare him for what’s going to happen to her, as well as the rest of us in the next seven years.
C.: d.c. can probably handle knowing that the whole world went to war, and one of his sons was called on to help fight in that war. Another was obligated to register for the draft, but was never drafted. His youngest son really wouldn’t want to be in the military, anyway. It’s just not his thing. But, d.c. would really have a hard time with what happened to the dog the he and Eudora adopted after my mom and dad decided to tour the world, bringing new ways for third word and developing countries to feed their indigent population.
E.: I’m sorry, I haven’t lived here very long. What are you referring to, may I ask?
C: You know, when T. Puppy became the mascot for “That Team Whose Name Must Not Be Mentioned In This Blog.” And what happened afterward would make him furious.
E.: If your referring to the brief time she spent as the Texas Rangers’ mascot, I think he can handle that.
C.: No, The Texas Rangers are d.c.’s second favorite MLB team. He would be pleased to know that a heated rivalry developed between his two favorite teams, because both teams were so good. They took turns going to the World Series, each team winning a pair of rings.
I’m referring to the time T. Puppy spent in New York.
E.: Well, she did work briefly for the Mets, and they were formerly a big rival of the Astros’ when both teams were in the National League—
C.: No, not that either. d.c. may not like the Mets, but he respects them. That was a good old-fashioned rivalry with the Mets and the Astros. I’m referring to the time he spent with New York’s other MLB team.
E.: Oh, when she worked for the-
C.: DO NOT SAY THAT NAME IN THIS BLOG! d.c. will ban you for life if he sees it written or spoken in this blog! I do think it’s ridiculous, though, what happened when she was the mascot for that team.
E.: Oh, you mean when that nameless team made her their mascot, and then put cameras in her harness so that the other team’s catcher’s signs could be sent to their clubhouse, where the bench coach was alerted by a simple sign. They were so arrogant that they just held up one finger for a fastball and two for a breaking ball.
C.: What they didn’t realize was the T. Puppy was also had another camera pointed at the clubhouse, and she sent both videos to the commissioner’s office. That’s how they got caught.
E.: But, that team was only fined $5,000.00 for doing that.
C.: Yes, no draft choices were taken, and $5,000.00 to a multibillionaire is like a nickel to the average working man or woman…d.c., how long have you been standing there, listening to us talk?
d.: Well, that’s all the time we have for today, folks. Please join us tomorrow for another episode of Cal.E.’s Korner.
