Life it seems to fade away
Drifting further everyday
Getting lost within myself
Nothing matters, no one else
I have lost the will to live
Simply nothing more to give
There is nothing more for me
I need the end to set me free
Things not what they used to be
Missing one inside of me
Deathly loss this can't be real
I cannot stand this hell I feel
Emptiness is filling me
To the point of agony
Growing darkness taking dawn, yeah
I was me but now, he's gone
Hey, do you hear us Cliff? Do you hear us Cliff?
No one but me can save myself, but its too late
Now I can't think, think why I should even try, oh no
Yesterday seems as though it never existed
Oh, but death greets me warm, now I will just say goodbye
So goodbye
Yeah goodbye
I say goodbye

C.: Hi, d.c., you looked stressed. What’s stressing you to pull your tresses?
d.: This article.
C.: What’s it about?
d.: How to lower your stress level. That’s why I’m listening to a fairly mellow song, because this article suggested doing that, to lower my stress level.
C.: Did it work?
d.: Not really.
C.: What else did it say to do?
d.: The article is so long, I can’t remember everything it said, and I accidentally erased it from my computer’s memory. I do remember one other thing it said to do to reduce my stress level, though.
C.: What’s that, d.c.?
d.: Well, one’s stress level is the pressure s/he feels to get something done in a certain amount of time, but that’s not important right now. I need to remember to “count my blessings.” In other words, be grateful for what I do have.
C.; i can help with that. You’re dong well in your class, from what I understand. You have a daily blog and a book being considered for publication by a traditional publisher, and you have opposable thumbs, unlike me. And, to top it off, you get to write this interesting blog with your best friend: yours truly.
d.: Thanks, Cal.E. I do feel better now. Is there anything creating an elevated stress leveil in your life that I may be able to help you with?
C.: Yes, there is. I would like to know what was supposed to happen on my favorite television serial, “One life to Give,” before it was cancelled.
d.: Well, I would be able to help you with thata, but I must turn in a paper for my class in three days, so I need to get started now.
C.: So, I suppose that we’re out of time for today, then. Please join us tomorrow for another episode of Cal.E.’s Korner.
