CAl.E's Corner

That is a sloth in the picture. I felt like one yesterday. Sloths, though, only sleep 16 hours a day, They do not do much more than eat and sleep each day. I usually sleep for 20 hours each day. BUT I am a CAT; not a human. Humans are NOT supposed to sleep 16 hours a day. How would they earn enough money to feed their cats if they slept that much? SMH Today, though, I will tell you about a human kennel dweller that DID act like a sloth.

Herman (not his real name) wanted someone from medical to push him in a wheelchair to come to his medical appointments. He also wanted a medical person at the human kennel to push him in a wheelchair to the rec yard, where he would play basketball and handball. Then he wanted someone from the medical department to push him in a wheelchair back to his dorm. AFTER playing basketball and handball for two hours. He said that it was because he had arthroscopic surgery on his knee a long time ago, and he could not walk very well. It is funny that he did not need someone to push him to the chow hall to eat. That is strange. Let me see, maybe the surgery had something to do with this. I will use my knowledge of the English language to figure it out. Dad, who is a nurse, says that surgeons are VERY proud of their work. So, this one must have wanted his name attached to the surgery. His name was... Arthur Rowe (arthro is the short version for his name, I guess). Scopic, one uses a microscope to see small things. So, it was a small surgery done by Arthur Rowe a long time ago. HMM.. it does NOT seem like a human kennel dweller would need a wheelchair for something so small that happened a long time ago. I guess this human was NOT as tough or as smart as a cat (but then, what human is?) That was a long story. I am very tired, so it is time for my nap now. Have a nice day
