Live from Cut-N-Shoot Texas, it’s the Joe Groan Show here on KIND/KING Conroe Cut-N-Shoot, the number one-hundred and fifth rated radio station in the northeast corner of Southeast Texas. And now, here’s your host, Joe Groan!

JG: Oh, oh, oh!! It’s the most wonderful time of the year! We’re here on location with this large crowd.

At the Houston Astrodome

for The Animal Olympics, and there’s an interesting situation going on. One of the two favored cats to take home all the marbles as the best all-around animal in these Olympics is trying to decide which other event to enter after chickening out…er withdrawing from the cat fighting championship that had been scheduled with her chief rival for that distinction, Tucker Tucker Two, a.k.a. The Cat Fighter Formerly Known As The Tuxedo (who really needs a shorter nickname) Now Simply Known As T Because Triple T Was Already Taken. Let’s look at the cowardly…er noble cat ELAC and try to determine which event she’ll elect to enter.

ELAC: (Let me put on my reading glasses so I can read the descriptions and qualifications for the other events in the animal Olympics besides the 'anything goes' cat fighting event. Well, this looks interesting, but I don’t know how to rope.

Besides, I do think it cruel to rope another animal, unless that animal is heading for trouble and must be stopped. Then again, this is just roping an inanimate object, much like the bull riding event.

I backed out of participating in that event, though, because it encourages cruelty to real animals. What practical use is it? I mean, who was the first human to look at a snorting, eighteen-hundred-pound bull and think, “I can ride him”? And why? So that’s a ‘no’ to the roping event, but there must be some event that I can participate in that doesn’t encourage cruelty to animals.

Now, let’s see what other event I might participate in.. No, I absolutely will not bulldog a bulldog.

They are some of the sweetest animals on this planet, as well as some of the strongest! Even if I didn’t think it was cruel, I haven’t trained sufficiently to participate in that event…

OH yes, that’s it! This is the perfect event for me to participate in during the Animal Olympics. It’s just challenging enough without being discouraging, I’m trained for it since this is one of the most popular and most challenging games in all the three galaxies I’ve lived in and visited, and it doesn’t encourage cruelty to animals. I’ll participate in the….

d.: Well, that’s all the time we have for today, folks. But don’t miss tomorrow's post and feel like a

Join us tomorrow and find out which event ELAC has decided to participate in.
