That is a white whale in the picture. It is also known as a Beluga whale. Beluga whales are usually found north of the Arctic Circle. Because they need to produce heat and maintain very high body weight, as well as body fat to keep warm, white whales eat constantly. This helps to keep the white whale alive. However, if a white whale were human, he would be known as a glutton (someone that eats too much for his or her own good). I will now tell you about a human kennel dweller who acted like a Beluga whale.
"Joe" was about to get out of the human kennel. He had about $800.00 in his commissary account. The human kennel dweller is given a choice when this happens. He can take a check for the whole amount, or he can take the amount of the balance in goods from the commissary. Joe chose the latter option. He had three days before he was released from the human kennel. He would not be allowed to take his commissary goods with him when he left the human kennel.
Many of the human kennel dwellers in Joe's situation will share their commissary goods with other human kennel dwellers. They are so happy to be released into the free world that they want to share their good fortune with others who are not as fortunate. Not Joe. Joe decided to eat all of his commissary goods himself before being released from the human kennel. When the human kennel workers went to escort him out of the front door of the human kennel, Joe was unresponsive. Joe ate himself to death in three days. He was NOT a Beluga whale. His greed cost him his life (I guess he was NOT as smart as a cat. We usually stop eating when we are full, no matter how much kibble is left in our bowls.)
This is Cal.E. Kat, signing off. (Tomorrow I will tell you about another human kennel dweller that cost himself a free life).
