d.: (Ring) Hi, Trey, what’s going on?

Trey: Dad, I need some advice…
d.: About school?

Trey: No, about tomorrow.
d.: Oh, yes, it is an important day.
Trey: Especially this year.
d.: That’s true. I have a plan for tomorrow, though.
Trey: maybe if you share it with me, I can get some ideas.
d.: Sure. I plan to spoil her tonight. Feed her a good dinner, make sure that she gets plenty of rest, and make sure that her coat is nice and shiny.

Trey: ???
d.: Well, T Puppy is a pretty dog, and that will help, I think, even though this competition is her first. She needs to look nice jumping through those hoops. That should earn her a ribbon that she…er…I can be proud of. Then, we’ll see where her career leads her.
Trey: Dad, do you know what tomorrow is?
d.: Yes, it’s February fourteenth, the day of T. Puppy Katt’s first hoop-jumping competition.
Trey: And do you know what else it is?
d.: Saturday?
Trey. Dad, tomorrow if Valentines Day, and I want to give my fiancé a special day. It will be our last Valentine’s Day before we get married, and I want to make it memorable for her. I thought I could get some tips from you if you told me what you planned to do for Mom since y'all have been married for so long.

d.: Er… I need to go to the store Trey, so that’s all the time we have for today. Please join us tomorrow for another cat ta(i)le

right here on Cal.E.’s Korner.

d.: (I wonder if Meglo Mart is out of candy?)
