C.: Well, this is a decent speech that d.c. wrote for me, but it doesn’t sound like me. I’ll just make some tweaks to this speech so that it sounds more like something I would say. I guess that d.c. got a little carried away. writimg my speech for me, Thirteen pages would take me a long time to read out loud to the crowd, so I’d better cut out some of the unnecessary things that d.c. put in this speech.
Yes, this can go, and this, and this, and this. This whole page doesn’t really sound like me, so I’ll just do away with it. No, that’s not right. I’ll correct that to sound more like something I would say. And this really doesn’t fit in a “I’m glad to be home” speech.
Maybe I should just sit down and write my own speech, like a started to do. Yes, that’s it. This speech does sound like something I would say.
