That's great, it starts with an earthquake
Birds and snakes, and aeroplanes
And Lenny Bruce is not afraid
Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn
World serves its own needs
Don't mis-serve your own needs
Speed it up a notch, speed, grunt, no, strength
The ladder starts to clatter
With a fear of height, down, height
Wire in a fire, represent the seven games
And a government for hire and a combat site
Left her, wasn't coming in a hurry
With the Furies breathing down your neck
Team by team, reporters baffled, trumped, tethered, cropped
Look at that low plane, fine, then
Uh oh, overflow, population, common group
But it'll do, save yourself, serve yourself
World serves its own needs, listen to your sun bleed
Tell me with the Rapture and the reverent in the right, right
You vitriolic, patriotic, slam fight, bright light
Feeling pretty psyched
It's the end of the world as we know it
It's the end of the world as we know it
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine
Six o'clock, T.V. hour, don't get caught in foreign tower
Slash and burn, return, listen to yourself churn
Lock him in uniform, book burning, bloodletting
Every motive escalate, automotive incinerate
Light a candle, light a motive, step down, step down
Watch your heel crush, crush, uh oh
This means no fear, cavalier, renegade and steering clear
A tournament, a tournament, a tournament of lies
Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives and I decline
It's the end of the world as we know it (I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it (I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine (time I had some time alone)
I feel fine (I feel fine)
It's the end of the world as we know it (time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it (time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine (time I had some time alone)
The other night I drifted nice continental drift divide
Mountains sit in a line, Leonard Bernstein
Leonid Brezhnev, Lenny Bruce and Lester Bangs
Birthday party, cheesecake, jellybean, boom
You symbiotic, patriotic, slam but neck, right, right
It's the end of the world as we know it (time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it (time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine (time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it
It's the end of the world as we know it
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine (time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it (time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it (time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine (time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it (time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it (time I had some time alone)
It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine (time I had some time alone)

d.: Well, I’m having a dilemma. I need to find Meow Z. Tongue
as plead with him not to end the Earth’s existence based on Cal.E.’s email
saying that the Earth has no redeeming qualities. However, my puppy, T. Puppy Katt is playing centerfield for the Astros’ triple z farm team, the Port Author Poodles,
and they’re in the middle of a playoff chase. Only the top eighteen teams in the ZZZ minor league make the playoffs, and the Poodles are currently in nineteenth place (out of twenty teams). It’s a long shot, but they may actually make the playoffs this year. The Poodles are only twenty games out of eighteenth place, and there are still twenty-five games left in the season, so they still have a chance to make the playoffs.
T. Puppy is the leadoff hitter because she’s so fast. She usually bunts to get on base, and she’s so fast that she can beat the throw to first base. I’d like to see her play, but I need a way to get the message to Meow not to destroy the earth, which will be tricky. My top three choices to help me do this are all unavailable.
Cal.E. is on the Planet of the Talking Cats running for ruler of that planet against her senile ex-husband, King Tom
and her husband, Tucker Two, a.k.a. The Cat Fighter Formerly Known As The Tuxedo (who really needs a shorter nickname) Now Simply Known As T Because Triple T Was Already Taken
is in hiding while he trains for the Cat Olympics in four years. He wants to be the only cat ever to hold championship belts in five different heavyweight categories of cat fighting, so he’s training to win the gold medal in tag-team heavyweight cat fighting while Cal.E. is gone. If she wins the election, though, he’ll need to find a new partner.
The only two of Cal.E.’s fourteen kittens I would trust with this assignment are Jod
i
…no, strike that, Jodi’s a flake. I don’t know Sixto or the rest of her fourteen kittens very well, except Ralph.
Ralph would be my other choice (when he’s not eating catnip) but he and his band, Beauty and the Glow fish, have hit the bigtime, so he’s not available. His band is on its ADIDAS tour. They’re playing in the back allies in Anahuac, Denton, Indian Springs, Dickinson, Arcola and Seabrook. Ralph is the bassist…
I said BASSIST as in a stringed instrument!
He’s also a backup vocalist, so he’s not available to help me. I really don’t know what to do…no I do, too. I’ll …
That’s all the time we have for today, folks. Please join us tomorrow for another episode of Cal.E.’s Korner.
