Hello darkness, my old friend
I've come to talk with you again
Because a vision softly creeping
Left its seeds while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
Within the sound of silence
In restless dreams I walked alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
'Neath the halo of a street lamp
I turned my collar to the cold and damp
When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light
That split the night
And touched the sound of silence
And in the naked light I saw
Ten thousand people, maybe more
People talking without speaking
People hearing without listening
People writing songs that voices never share
No one dared
Disturb the sound of silence
"Fools" said I, "You do not know
Silence like a cancer grows
Hear my words that I might teach you
Take my arms that I might reach you"
But my words like silent raindrops fell
And echoed in the wells of silence
And the people bowed and prayed
To the neon god they made
And the sign flashed out its warning
In the words that it was forming
And the sign said, "The words of the prophets
Are written on the subway walls
And tenement halls
And whispered in the sounds of silence"

C.: Well, ELAC and I have been at this monastery with the Tibetan Zen Buddhists Monks for …two whole minutes?! My watch must be slow. This is not what I had in mind when I asked my cousin from another planet to help me hide from my former fiancé and his employer, but it is what it is. At least I was able to sneak my phone in here under my robe. That will give me something to do besides stare at the walls and sleep.
I suppose I should be grateful to my cousin, ELAC, who came down from HTRAE to rescue me. She learned all the martial arts and used them to subdue my captors,
Shon and Big Boy, my next door neighbor and best freind, d.c. scot's, cats. She then took me on her moped to Galveston, where we stowed away on a tramp steamer and came to Asia. We then snuck into the monestary and commandeered a couple of robes from the monks in this monestary while they slept. We did all of this in less than twenty-four hours! As long as we obey our vow of silence these monks must take and wear these robes, non one will know that we're here, but this is boring!
Let’s see, this app. will help me find my ideal mate if I input all my information. Maybe, if I find the right mate, I can get out of here and go on with my life. Maybe my ideal mate is a cat that will protect me from Tucker and Tom and the rest of their cartel. Okay, Let’s see who the lucky tom cat will be.
Age: That’s debatable. Are they talking about in this planet, or my real age? I’ll just put down how long I’ve been here, on earth.
Weight.: Seven and one-half pounds of steal and sex appeal. That was easy.
Ideal mate: Someone to watch over me., No, wait, that sounds like a control freak who would stalk me and try to control my every move. How about a big, handsome, rich cat who likes to have fun, but do it in moderation? Age doesn’t matter as much as other things, like a sense of humor and honor. He would need to like kittens and be good with humans and other animals. It would help if he was world famous as well. Now, let me see who my phone app says is the lucky tom cat whom I should marry and have a long, happy marriage with???!! Tucker Tucker Two?!!...Dr. Buddy Bones, Big Boy, what are y'all doing here?!
d.: Well, that’s all the time we have for today, folks. Please join us tomorrow for another episode of Cal.E.’s Korner.
