C.: Hi, d.c. Did you get my message?
d.: I did, Cal.E. It is confusing, as is the picture you sent. What does it all mean?
C.: I am preparing for life on the lam again. I miss Lucia, and I am in debt up to my eyeballs! I think it is best for me just to disappear for a while. That way, Tom the Tabby and The Tuxedo will not be able to find me. I just wanted to see if you wanted to come with me and make it an adventure. Lucia is too young, but you are DEFINITELY old enough to do as you please!
d.: No, Cal.E. I can't. I could write from anywhere, but I cannot do my two nursing jobs from anywhere else but where I am now. Anyway, didn't you bet on Duke to win the NCAA basketball championship? They are still alive.
C.: I did, but I want to be prepared, in case Duke loses one of the next two games in which they play.
d.: Where will you be going, in the unlikely event that Duke does not win the NCAA basketball championship in Coach K's last year?
C.: Tijuana, to avoid Tom and T.
d.: ??? That is where they are now...
C.: Exactly. Where is the last place you will look if you lose something?
d.: Where I was standing when I realized that it was missing. I see your point. How do you plan to get there?
C.: I will stow away in a plane's cargo area. Fortunately, I am an educated cat that can read. I will check the flight schedules and find a flight to Tijuana.
d.: How will you get to the airport?

d.: IF I am off work, and my wife does not have anything planned...

d.: You get back into rehab the moment you get to Tijuana. You have just traded one addiction for another. You stopped eating catnip only to become addicted to gambling!
C.: I will, d.c. Tijuana has some PREMIUM catnip, from what I hear. They will probably use THAT instead of Trazadone in a Tijuana rehab center for cats addicted to gambling (if such a thing even exists).
d.: SMH. Will she EVER learn? Even though Duke DID win yesterday, I somehow think that Cal.E. will STILL find a way to get into trouble
