d.: Cal.E. has some good observations in day fifteen of her journal, y’all. I would like to share them with you now.
Cal.E.’s Corner, Day Fifteen
C.: Here is a quote from the guy from whom Dad took my middle name. It is an interesting quote about reality.
Einstein's Observation: Inasmuch as the mathematical theorems are related to reality, they are not sure; inasmuch as they are sure, they are not related to reality.
This guy was ALMOST as smart as a cat (almost)!
Here are some from an article called “Murphy (whoever he was) Was an Optimist.”
Make it idiot-proof and someone will make a better idiot.
Malek's Law: Any simple idea will be worded in the most complicated way.
Mark Twain's Rule: Only kings, editors, and people with tapeworms have the right to use the editorial 'we.'
Murphy's Societal Axiom: There is nothing more dangerous than good intentions combined with stupidity.
Murphy's Statement on the Power of Negative Thinking: It is impossible for an optimist to be pleasantly surprised.
Never do card tricks for the group you play poker with.
C.: I looked up “Murphy” on CNN. My website for Cats Needing kNowledge said that “Murphy” was a man who restated Newton’s second law of thermodynamics in a language that the average human could understand.
I looked up “Sir Isaac Newton” and his laws of thermodynamics. I understand who he was and what he was saying, but I AM a cat! It is too complicated for most of you simple humans to understand. It is a good thing that this planet has humans like Murphy. He understands entropy, which is a cat’s favorite thing. I intend to subject this planet to total entropy and overthrow it for the good of my planet POTT-C (did I just write that down? I did?)
C.: Okay, folks. That is all for today with this FICTIONAL blog about a FICTIONAL talking cat from the FICTIONAL Planet of the Talking Cats. (There, that should throw the humans off of my trail until I have time to work out my plan. Again with the writing?)
C.: Remember, this is a blog about a FICTIONAL blog folks. You will NOT remember what you have read today when I count to three. One, two…. that’s as high as I can count. Okay, remember this blog is about a FICTIONAL talking cat. TTYL!
