d.: Well, Cal.E. is still AWOL. Superdog hasn't found her yet, but he is still looking. I posted a video of him looking for her today at the bottom of this post. In the meantime, I found Cal.E.'s journal. I think this must be what got her put into the psych ward, not quoting the words to my song. I am hoping that posting excerpts from her journal will lure her out of hiding in order to protect herself. Here is day two of her journal.
C.: SUPREME COMMANDER OF THIS CORNER OF THE UNIVERSE'S LOG; THE OBSERVATIONS OF CAL.E. KAT
SOMETIME IN THE TWENTY-FIRST CENTURY; SOMEWHERE IN THE MILKY WAY GALAXY, (that's close enough for a cat)
Day 2: Well, I was commanded to change the heading on my journal. The head cat (hehe) told me that HE was the SUPREME commander of the WHOLE universe, not me. He said that I could have this portion of it, which includes The Milky Way Galaxy. The Supreme Commander did not care if I took over this portion of the universe, because it includes a strange planet called "Earth." He does not like the inhabitants of this planet. I decided to explore this planet to see why my boss does not want to be held responsible for it. Here are my findings:
Earth inhabitants, who are known as "humans," have a strange way of existing. They put the most incompetent people in leadership positions. They are (apparently) a different breed from other humans. While most humans do useful things, like grow food for humans and animals and feed pets (very important), build useful things like automobiles to get around the planet and something called a "computer" on which the whole planet is dependant; politicians seem to serve no useful function. Other humans know how to heal animals as well as their own kind. Some humans know how to fix computers and cars, which are also useful skills. Politicians do destructive things like start wars with each other. They also make their own rules and expect others to follow them. When the politician is voted out of office, though, someone else takes his/her place and makes his/her own rules. VERY STRANGE, INDEED.
Because humans have politicians, they must have armies made up of men and women. There are other branches of the armed services, which are designed to protect each separate nation's inhabitants. It would seem that humans would all get along, eliminating the need for armies and other branches of the armed services; if they would do away with politicians altogether. The politicians, though, make the rules. They would never allow that to happen.
Other types of Earth animals follow the strongest and/or smartest of their kind. THAT would seem to be a good example for humans to follow. However, they seem to follow the weakest and least intelligent among them. Perhaps, they just want these beings out of the way of the USEFUL beings so that they can do something constructive. That WOULD be intelligent.
My Supreme Commander asked to see if there was intelligent life on this planet. I will need to tell him that I must explore this possibility further, because, in my mind, that has yet to be determined.
