Hi, y’all. I must get this done before Dad goes to work. He is the only one who will type for me. I cannot type, because I am a cat! You,humans, have some complicated machines!
Dad says that work is a four-letter word, effort is not. I guess that he means if you enjoy what you are putting effort into, it is not a four-letter word. It is enjoyable
Mom does not like it when my brothers use four-letter words. She says that they are ugly, especially the ones the begin with the letter “F.” Well, four is a four-letter “F” word. Perhaps it is a bad word, like five, which, oddly enough, has four letters, not five. Hmm, my brothers say that using four-letter words (I never hear Curly use one, but my other two brothers do) relieves stress, especially if the word begins with an F. Well, I am having a bad day, so let me try it. FOUR! FIVE! FORE! WHAT; WHEN; GOES. Hmm, it does not seem to work for me. Anyway, since Dad must go to work, I will tell you about the animal in the picture below.
That’s Belle (not her real name, just as Dante No was not the real name in the story yesterday. His name DID sound similar to the one I used, though). This dog is a Belgian Malinois, the smartest, most trainable breed of dog known to man or cats. I guess that means that they are almost as smart as cats, but not quite. On with the story before dad must leave for work.
Belle is in The Kennel because her human stole a car using a water pistol. I guess humans do not like being subjected to being sprayed by water any more than cats do. That is why the car owner let Belle’s human have her car. She did not want to get her fur wet. I can hardly blame her. I HATE my bathes. Apparently, though, this is illegal in the human world. I wish that my baths were illegal in the human/cat world. I would be so much happier. Apparently, though, it will cost a human two years in a human kennel to threaten to spray water on another human if s/he does not give the other human what s/he desires. If the human was a cat, he would just take what he wanted. The human world is SO very complicated!
Let me tell you about Belle. Dad REALLY wants to keep her. She went in the kennel as soon as Dad opened it. The animals must stay in a kennel for 23 hours when they first get here to make sure that they will get along with the other animals. They never bother me. It is almost as if I am invisible. I do not eat, and I never go to the litter box. Hmm, I AM the perfect pet. Belle is okay, too. I catch a ride on her back sometimes. She just takes me where I want to go. I then hop off. She never tries to bother me. She and Buddy get along fine, but Mom says we do not have enough room for such a large dog. It is too bad. Belle is one dog that I do not mind sharing my house with. She is gentle with the other animals and all the humans, regardless of their size.
Anyway, Dad must go to work now, and I am overdue for my nap. Thanks for letting me share my story. Until next time, take care!
