d.: I wonder why Cal.E. didn’t call me to do our blog yesterday? I’ll call her and see (ring) (as d.c. is calling Cal.E., he lets his mind wander and imagines what he wants to say to some of his patients at The Kennel). (ring).

Nurse, I turned around in circles thirty-two times. Now I’m dizzy.

d.: Well, try turning around the other way thirty-two times.

Can I get a pass not to go to work?

d.: No, next!

What’s the matter

I don’t feel well!

d.: Specifically, what is bothering you?

I just don’t feel well. Everytime I think about going to work, I get ill.

d.: Well, your vital signs are all within normal limits, you’re not dehydrated, and you seem to be oriented to person, place, time and situation. Maybe we should try tome immersion therapy for you.

That sounds good. What is it?

d.:  You immerse yourself in what’s ,making you ill. So, you’ll work 24/7, 365 unitl you’re cured.

I’m cured! Can I have a work excuse?

d.: No, that must come from the provider.

I’ll ask him.

d.: Go ahead.

NO!!!!!!!!!

(rii).  Oh, hi, d.c. ew you feeling any better?

d.: I wasn’t sick. I said that I had to see some sick people.

C.: Oh, my bad. Well, I’m kinda busy, so I guess that’s all the time we have for today, folks. We’ll see you tomorrow for another episode of Cal.E.’s Korner.
