Hello, this is the security sergeant, and I think we have a real problem.
d.¨(They think everything is a real problem, and is more important than anything I’m doing). How many copies of how many pages do you need, sarge?
I need six copies of three pages, three copies of six pages, and two copies each of forty-five pages, but that’s not the problem. We have a real emergency.
d.: What is it?
Well, I think the cook in our kitchen was trying a new dish today.
d.: What was the name of the dish?
Chicken Tartar.
d.: You mean he was serving raw chicken for lunch ?
Well…yes.
d.: How many of the inmates ate this dish.
Apparently, all of them.
d.: Okay, bring in the first one.
I can’t just bring them in one at a time, that would take too long. I’ll just do it by dorm.
d.:( That’s almost 300 men, and I’m the only nurse here. I would call for help from the HUB unit, but they always say their too busy to help,
and, as small as my unit is, I should be able to handle it. The only thing is, I’m one nurse for 300 inmates and they have six nurses for 600 inmates.)
Sarge, why did you only bring me one inmate, when you said they were all sick?
Well, you know the only murderer on our prerelease unit? The guy who's never rude to anyone and never complains about anything?
d.: Isn’t he the one that was convicted of murder because a hacker hacked his phone and died of boredom?

d.: Bring him in, then…I definitely need help today.
