Cal.E.'s Korner

Risin' up, back on the street

Did my time, took my chances

Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet

Just a man and his will to survive

So many times, it happens too fast

You trade your passion for glory

Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past

You must fight just to keep them alive

It's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight

Risin' up to the challenge of our rival

And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night

And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger

Face to face, out on the heat

Hangin' tough, stayin' hungry

They stack the odds still we take to the street

For the kill, with the skill to survive

It's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight

Risin' up to the challenge of our rival

And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night

And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger

Risin' up, straight to the top

Had the guts, got the glory

Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop

Just a man and his will to survive

It's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight

Risin' up to the challenge of our rival

And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night

And he's watching us all with the eye of the tiger

The eye of the tiger

The eye of the tiger

The eye of the tiger

The eye of the tiger

C.:  (Ring) Hello.

Tux.:  (Wonder why Cal.E.’s calling me. She’s late for our workout. I hope that nothing is wrong.

C.: Tucker my love. I’m sorry, but I don’t think I’m going to make our workout session today. My LCS is acting up again.

Tux.: Oh, my goodness. That sounds like a serious condition. Is it treatable?

C.: It is a serious condition, but it’s not fatal. It’s a chronic condition that calls for rest and pampering myself. Hopefully, after a week or two of lounging around the house and getting beauty treatments, and massages, I’ll be able to resume working out with you. I do want to win that tag-team cat fighting match against The Claw and his paw.

Tux.: I just want you to get better, my pet. I’ll do all of the house work, grocery shopping and yard work until you feel better.

C.: Oh, that won’t be necessary, unless  you insist.

Tux.: I do insist.

C.: Okay. I need to get started on my treatments, so I’ll need to go now.

Tux.: Rest well, my pet.

(Now, to see what LCS stands for. I’ll just use my excellent, expensive computer to access CNN. Let’s see what Cats Need kNowledge has to say about LCS.)

Hmm. I don’t think Cal.E. is suffering from “League Championship Series.” That isn’t a medical condition. It’s a round of Major League Baseball playoffs. I need to look under “chronic medical conditions.” I’ll just list her symptoms and, voila! I found it! WHAT!!!

d.: Well, that’s all the time we have for today, folks. Tune in tomorrow to find out what Tucker Tucker Two a.k.a. The Cat Fighter Formerly Known As The Tuxedo (who really needs a shorter nickname) Now Simply Known As T Because Triple T Was Already Taken found out about Cal.E.’s condition, LCS, and why he’s so upset. You can gather that valuable knowledge tomorrow right here on Cal.E.’s Korner.
