C.: So, are you going to answer my question from yesterday?

d.: I will. You have read all five of my McGruder Mysteries manuscripts, so you know how it ends.

C.: But those were first drafts, and you tend to change things on your second, third, or thirty-second draft.
d.: I do, but how it ends is told in the first manuscript. The rest is telling how each person got to that point and why they are important to the story.
C.: Some of the characters in the second manuscript, Precision, aren’t in any other manuscripts, because they..well most of them…

d.: Don’t give it away, Cal.E. I hope to have these manuscripts turned into a series of books, and telling what happens will drive down sales.
C.: Well, maybe I should reread all five manuscripts thoroughly. Since all five manuscripts are in the 100,000-word range, this could take….a very long time.
d.: So that means that I’ll need to write the blog by myself for a while, I suppose.
C.: That sounds correct. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have some interesting reading to do.
d.: So that’s all the time we have for today, folks. That’s the end of this cat ta(i)le. Please join us next time for another edition of Cal.E.’s Korner.
