C.: Well, the big event is tomorrow, d.c.

d.: Yes, this will be an interesting Super Bowl.

No one knows which team will play its best, and neither team has a national following like the other Texas team did during its glory days long ago. M

C.: The SUPER BOWL?! I was talking about the World Association of Cat-fighting and Knowledge of Ornithology middle weight championship grudge match between my third husband. Tucker Tucker Two, a.ka. The Cat Fighter Formerly Known As The Tuxedo (who really needs a shorter nickname) Now Simply Known As T Because Triple T Was Already Taken (by T.’s former b.f.f., business partner with the Triple T Cartel and former WACKO cat-fighting tag team partner and now arch nemesis and chief rival for T.’s six WACKO heavy weight championship belts, the Original Triple T, Tome the Tabby.

d.: Well, to generate more interest, maybe they should move the bout until Monday, but that may be hard to do.

C.: Not really, since T owns the cable television station that has exclusive broadcasting rights to this event.

d.: Yes, and they only allow a few, privileged souls to watch the bout live,

so fiving rain checks on those tickets won’t be hard to do…but what about the sponsors for the bout?

C.: You mean the sponsor, Animal Byproducts Conglomerated?

That company is a subsidiary of the ..Triple T Cartel. Tom has control over it, and T still has a small stake in it as well.

d.: How small?

C.: Forty-nine percent. That way, Tom gets to make all the decisions for it. I’ll just send a group text to T and Tom,

and they can reschedule the event for Monday.

d.: While everyone’s at work?

C.: No, cats are nocturnal, so they will hold the event at 12.01 a.m. on Monday and then rebroadcast it during prime time on Monday. The only people who will know that the event isn’t being broadcast live will be the ones who attended the event live, and they probably won’t want to watch it again on television.

d.: Sounds like a plan…but I do have a few questions.

C.: Like what?

d.: Well, what if Tom still doesn’t make weight to qualify as a middle weight cat fighter? He was obese at the weigh in the day before the bout was originally schedluled.

C.: let’s see what the WACKO website says.

Yes, here it is.”Pursuant to two WACKO cat fighting champions fighting for a title that is outside of one (more) of the participant’s weight class… the champion of the heavier weight class will retain his/her championship blet if s/he is able to keep from being knocked out or suffer a technical knockout i.e. the referee determines that the participant is no longer able to continue fighting without risking permanent damage to his brain, body, or spirit. IN this case, the participant who is declared the champion in his/her own weight class will retain both titles that were being challenged.

d.: To sum up, all T has to do is stay on his feet for three 3-minute rounds and he will not only retain his light heavy weight belt, but earn Tom’s middleweight belt as well?

C.: Correct. And T and Tom just texted me. They have the match rescheduled for Monday, February 9, 2026, at 12:01 a.m. on channel 222222.22,

‘d.: And just in time because we’re out of time for today, folks. That’s the end of this cat ta(i)e.

Please join us tomorrow for another edition of Cal.E.’s Korner.
