C.: d.c. said that he had a “bit gym day” today, since he’s off work.

That’s why he asked me to write the blog post by myself today. I don’t know if he meant that he had a big day at the gym or he was going to a large gym to work out, but I do know that his goal is to look like this guy.
That’s okay, because I have a lot to say…...
d.c., what are you doing here?

d.: Well, the power was on the blink at the gym, so I decided to come home…
C.: And work out at home?

d.: No, I’m too tired to do that.
C.: Then, why did you go to the gym if you’re tired?
d.: Because I felt I needed to. But, when I got there, the power was going on and off. That meant the elevator to the second floor, where all the equipment is, wasn’t working properly, and I’m terrified of getting trapped in an elevator.
C.: So, why didn’t you use the stairs?

d.: Because it’s two flights up to where the equipment is, and the a/c wasn’t working correctly.
That made me mad

C.:…d.c., don’t you sometimes get on the stair master and climb like, fifty stories; and aren’t those stationary bikes you ride equipped with fans so that, the faster you go, the cooler your surroundings area?
d.: And your point is?
C.: Never mind. I just want to get started writing the blog.
d.: I can write the blog post today, if you’d like, Cal.E.

C.: That’s okay, because I have a lot to say.
d.: So do I, and I can do it without a lot of mansplaning.
C.: Well, age before beauty, I suppose. You can go first, as long as you’re concise.

d.: You know that I can be concise, Cal.E. I can be so concise that you’ll never even know that I was writing the blog post. I can be the most concise person that ever lived. In fact, “Concise” is my middle name...
C.: I thought it was Christian.
d.: It was a figure of speech, which is a way of explaining one thing by using an example of something else. For instance, I can say that I’m concise, or I can show you how concise I am by writing a short, to-the-point post with no extra words involved in it. That would show you that I’m not only concise but have an extended vocabulary.
One doesn’t need to use big words to show that she has a large vocabulary. S/he only must use words that have the same meaning as several words to get a point across. It’s a talent that writers must possess to be successful.
Now, what would you like to talk about?
C.:….I forgot what I was going to say.
d.: Well, that may be for the best, Cal.E, because it looks like we’re out of time for today So that's the end of our blog post.

C.: So please join us tomorrow for another cat ta(i)le right here on Cal.E.’s Korner.
