d.: Cal.E.?!! What are you doing here?

C.: Well, uh, well, I tried to call you, but you didn’t answer your phone, so I walked down here to see what was going on.

d.: Well, Eudora is off from work this week,

so we decided to take advantage of the situation.

C.: Well, from the sound of it, y’all did a.good job of that. I mean, I could hear y’all all the way out here in the living room, and y’all had the door closed.

d.: Well, it’s a natural, normal thing for humans to do.

C.: I suppose it is. I mean, I knew animals, and especially cats, did it a lot, but I didn’t know that humans did it while the sun was up.

d.: We saw an opportunity, and we took it.

C.: I’ll say.

d.: Yes, Cal.E, humans do sometimes take afternoon cat naps, and Eudora and I do both snore, but there’s no crime in that.

C.: I suppose not, but we’re out of time for today, so that’s the end of today’s cat tail(i)le.
