C.: d.c. is late with his call to discuss our blog, so I’d better call him since he’s not usually late for anything.

d. (ring) Hi, Cal.E., I’m sorry I’m late, but I was working on something important.

C.: Could that be our 1499th blog post?

d.: No, but it is our fourth anniversary, so that's special. Is that an important number on your home planet, the Planet of the Talking Cats?

C.: Hardly, besides my thirty-third cousin twice removed, ELAC,

who is my cousin and just visiting there, most of the cats on PTTC can only count to two. That’s how many times our human slaves feed us on our planet, so counting past that number isn’t important. I only learned to count past two when I came to Planet Earth.

d.: That’s true.

C.: d.c., I see that you are calling me from your truck. Are you going somewhere important?

d.: You might say that….

C.: I just did, in the form of a question. As you know, a question is an interrogative statement…

d.: Used to derive information. To answer your interrogative question, I’m going to see my computer expert. I tried to call him earlier in the day, but he was taking his afternoon nap, and his mom wouldn’t wake him up for me to talk to him. She offered me cookies and milk if I came over for a pre-dinner snack to talk to her seven-year-old son about changing the name of my web page. I accepted, so I’m on my way over to his house now.

C.: You’re going to change the name of the website? What about the blog? Are you going to change the name of MY blog?

d.: No, that will stay the same. In fact, I’m only going to change two letters in the name of the web page.

C.: Why?

d.:  It seems that there is already a children’ mystery series named “The Magruder Mysteries, so I changed the name of the series to the McGruder Mysteries. My protagonist, Jay, can be a Scot whose family migrated to  Austrie. It makes him and his first wife, Alcie, have mor in common, anyway, since she’s descended from Irish farmers.

That’s the way the story reads now, anyway. I think it makes them have more in common, which would explain why Alice put up with Jay for as long as she did.

I changed the name of the book series easily, but I cannot figure out how to change the name of the web page. It’s such a small difference that I don’t think it will be that noticeable.

C.: So, Alice and Jay are both of British decent?

d.: Yes. I’m here, so I need to see little Sammy…

C.: Just one more question, d.c.

d.: And that is?

C.: Well, since the name of the webpage is now going to be McGruder Mysteries, are we now the bloggers who say MIC!?

d.: I see you’ve been watching the Monty Python movies I loaned T to play on his retro C.D. player, but I have arrived at my destination, so we’re out of time for today…

C.: So, that’s the end of today’s cat ta(i)l, folks.
