d.: So, what do you want to talk about today, Cal.E.?

C.: IDK, d.c., do you have any ideas?
d.: Well, Jerry Seinfeld had a s how in the nineteen nineties whose tag line was “a show about nothing.”

C.: So, the characters just sat around all day and did nothing, and people watched that?
d.: No, they would discuss every day stuff with a funny angle, but the show was almost cancelled after its first season. However, over time, people began to appreciate his sense of humor, and the finale was the most-watched television show of all time.
C.: Yes, but that was before there were so many choices. Now, one can stream almost any television show s/he wants to see, for the right price.

d.: Yes, in fact, I believe that, if you wanted to, you could find the whole Seinfeld series on a streaming service.
C.: Challenge accepted. My third husband, Tucker tucker Two, a.k.a. The (former) Cat Fighter Formerly Known As The Tuxedo (who) really needs a shorter nickname) Now Simply Known As T Because Triple T Was Already Taken (by his former WACKO cat fighting tag team partner, business partner and BFF, the Original Triple T, Tom the Tabby)

has an ultimate setup for watching television

at Wayne Manor.

d.: No, wait, I didn’t mean that you needed to…never mind. Man, that cat can move when she wants to do something. She’s already back at Wayne Manor.
Later that same day…
C.: Well, I watched the whole Seinfeld series, and it created some questions in my mind.
d.:???
C.: Well, there are no cats on the show, only an occasional dog. And is this show based on Jerry’s life, or did he make it all up?
d.: A little of both, I think. He had friends that resembled the main character, but he embellished their personalities with his imagination.
C.: I see. Well, Jerry Seinfeld was, at one time, one of the most successful entertainers in the U.S. So, why is his best friend a Ne’re-do-well named George?

d.: Oh, George was harmless, but I think he was a conglomeration of a lot of people who just held on to Jerry’s coat tails to make their lives easier. Although George did work his way up to traveling secretary for the New York Yankees

before he was traded to a chicken farm in Arkansas.

C.: Yes, that was episode 227, I think. But why did he name that character ‘George’? Why not Bill or some other common name?
d.: Well, that name just seemed to fit Jason Alexander. I’m sure that, at times, he still gets called by that name by some people, or, probably most people.
C.: Human names don’t make sense. Animals are named by their characteristics. I’m a smart cat, so my name is Calculating Einstein Katt, and my nickname, Cal.E., fits as well, since I’m a beautiful, but humble and unassuming cat.
d.: And I named T. Puppy

that when she was a puppy. You‘re right, though, humans do name their young names they like, not for what they expect their children to become…except my friend, who was named after a famous scientist.
C.: And what does he do for a living now?
d.: He’s a chemist, with a master’s degree.

C.: And I lived up to my name when I learned to count past two. Now, I can solve mathematical equations that most people cannot, and I’m still as pretty as I was when I was dumb.
d.: Do you realize what we’ve done, Cal.E.?
C.: Yes, we’ve made this blog a blog about nothing. Maybe it will shoot to number one, like ‘Seinfeld’ did.
d.: Perhaps, but we’re out of time for today, so please join us tomorrow for another cat tail(e) right here on Cal.E.’s Korner.
