d.: I’m sorry I didn’t work in time to write our blog yesterday, Cal.E., but I'm at my computer now, ready to write.

ree

C.: Good to know, d.c., but I’m sorry you had to work overtime yesterday,.

d.: That’s okay, this new branch of The Kennel

ree

where I’m working has something that no other government facility where I’ve worked has.

C.: What’s that, good personnel?

ree

d.: No. This place does have good people whom I enjoy working with, but that’s not it.

C.: Well then, is it having a supervisor on site 24/7/365?

d.: Well, this place does have that, and that’s a good thing, but that’s not what I was referring to.

C.: Then, is it officers

ree

who don’t take themselves too seriously?

ree

d.: Yes, these officers do seem to be more in tune with the medical staff, and I like that, but that’s not it, either.

C.: Is it better equipment?

d.: No, I’m accustomed to using my own equipment, so I brought that with me, so that’s not it, either.

C.: Is it that the whole place is air conditioned, unlike other branches of The Kennel?

d.: Yes, the whole building is air conditioned, and that’s nice, but that’s not it, either.

C.: Well, I’m stumped, d.c. If it isn’t the people you work with, having a supervisor on sight all the time, the equipment, or the officers at this branch of The Kennel, what does this place have that no other government facility has had that you’ve worked at.

d.: Well, I’ve worked at five other branches of The Kennel, and none of them had what this facility has: Two ply toilet paper!

ree

C.: That’s (thankfully) all the time we have for today, folks, so that’s the end of this cat tail(e).

Please join us tomorrow for another episode of Cal.E.’s Korner with yours truly and author/blogger/correctional nurse d.c. scot.
