Live from Cut-N-Shoot Texas, it’s the Joe Graon Show here on KIND/KING Conroe Cut-N-Shoot, the number one-hundred and fifth rated radio station in the northeast corner of Southeast Texas. And now, here’s your host, Joe Groan!
JG: Oh, oh, oh, I’m here at the eighth Wonder of the World, a.k.a. The Houston Astrodome, where tragedy is about to strike. An armadillo

has stopped in the middle of the track for the tortoise ten kilometer run, and the two turtles from the first heat (which started on Tuesday) are speeding….well, there headed in that direction. We have our beat reporter, Kit Katt, who is at the scene. Kit, what can you tell us?

Kit: Well, I can tell you that the sun is bright outside of the Astrodome. That's why I'm wearing this straw hat.....
Oh, you meant about the Animal Olympics. Joe, as you know, the competitors in the long course for the tortoise ten-k must go outside of the Astrodome to complete the course, and there’s going to be a collision, I’m afraid. One of the workers here at the Animal Olympics tried to remove the armadillo, but was met with an angry crowd of protesters,

All 500,000 of them had this on the back of their phones.

The worker withdrew, but the armadillo stayed where he was. I’m afraid that a catastrophe may occur in…..well, maybe in this lifetime. With the angry crowd reacting to this terrible chain of events, the organizers of the Animal Olympics have suspended all activities until further notice, so that’s it for today, folks. Please join us tomorrow for another episode of Cal.E.'s Korner.
