Live from Cut-N-Shoot Texas, it’s the Joe Groan Show here on KIND/KING Conroe Cut-N-Shoot, the number one-hundred and fifth rated radio station in the northeast corner of Southeast Texas. And now, here’s your host, Joe Groan!

d.: Well, Joe, I’d love to listen to your show, but I have work to do, so I’ll tape it and listen to it later. Now, what was I going to do? Oh, yes, look for…..something or other. I’ll call Cal.E. and ask her if I’ve mentioned to her what I might be looking for.

C.: (ring) This is Calculating Einstein Katt. I’m either doing something more important than talking to you or taking a long cat nap. Come to think of it, taking a nap is more important than talking to most of y’all, so leave me a message as the beep, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I feel like it. If you are one of the privileged few who I answer my phone for, please say the secret phrase and I’ll answer immediately, or as soon as I get around to it. (beep).

d.: PICK THE PHONE UP, CAL.E.!

C.: Oh, hi, d.c. what can I do for you today?

d.: Well, I was looking for something, and I thought you might be able to help me. Did I tell you that I was looking for something in the past…few…days, or years, or hours, or minutes?

C.: No, but, if you’ll tell me what  you’re looking for, I’ll try my best to help you find it. Now, is it bigger than a breadbox and smaller than a jumbo jet?

D.: I’m not really sure.

C.: ???

D.: Well, I don’t know exactly what I’m looking for, but I do know that it’s important.

C.: Well then, start at A and go through the alphabet. It may come to you when you come to the correct letter that the item you’re looking for begins with.

d.: Well, no, not A… I know, it’s a file.

C.: Finger nail or paper?

d,: Neither. It’s a file on my computer.

C.:  which computer? You have more than one.

d.: I’m not sure.

C.: Well, what’s it about?

d.: I’m sorry, I don’t recall.

C.: Do you have a clue as to what the file is about, or who or what it’s for?

d.: No, but cat’s have excellent memories and long attention spans, so if I told you that I was looking for a file on my computer, you’d remember that, right?

C.: I’m sorry, I was distracted by this commercial about cat food on T's giant screen t.v.. What were we talking about again?

d.: I said, that I was looking for a file…for a class I’m taking.

C.: Which class?

d.: IDK, no, wait. It’s the biology class I’m taking. We’re studying the human brain. It was a research paper about how there are no adults with eidetic memories. I was taking the opposite side of that argument.

C.: And, who, may I ask, were you using as an example of an adult with an eidetic memory?

d.: Me, why?

C.:....That’s all the time we have for today, folks. Please join us tomorrow for another edition of Cal.E.’s Korner.
