d.: (ring)

C.: Hello?

d.: Cal.E., you need to come to my house so we can work on our blog for today.

C.; No can do, d.c.

d: And why not?

C.; Because today’s a big day on my planet.

d.: Is it some kind of holiday?

C.: Is it some kind of holiday?!

d.: Yes, is it some kind of holiday?

C.: Well, no, not exactly.

d.: Then why can’t you come to my house and give me some ideas for our blog today?

C.: Because today is the day of the biggest rac eon POTTC, my home planet.

d.: What race is that?

C.: It’s the big Rumba Race. Don’t you remember me telling you about the biggest race in the town, well, the neighborhood, well, just the street where I grew up, I suppose.

d.: And what is that about?

C.: Well, all the cats on my street who know how to ride a rumba get together at precisely six o’clock p.m., more or less, and see which cat can ride a rumba the farthest. The winner gets a participation trophy, just like the rest of the cats in the Rumba Race.

d.: And you can watch that race on this planet?

C>: Yes, of course.

d.: How?

C.: It’s on my former across the street neighbor’s next -door neighbor’s YouTube channel.

d.: Well, of course it is. However, there is still ample time for us to write our blog before six. I need to go now.

C: But I don’t want to miss all the pageantry that occurs before the race. It will be interesting to see which cat can sleep the longest, and which one can yawn the most in the hours before the race.

C.: Well, you’ve inspired me with your description of this race, Cal.E., so I need to start my training for my next big thing.

C.: And that is?

d.: I’m going to compete in the Senior Olympics. To do that, I must start training immediately. I’ll start training by lifting weights since I'm already in great cardiovascular shape.

C.: Well, since d.c. and I are both swamped with activities for the day, I suppose we’re out of time; so that’s the end

of today's cat ta(i)le. Please join us tomorrow for another episode of Cal.E.'s Korner.
