d.: Cal.E., you’re late. What happened?

C.: I’m sorry I’m late, d.c., but I was working on a change in me.

d.: Well, it looks like your hair is the same color, but I’m a man. I probably wouldn’t notice if you did change the shade of your hair a little bit.

C.: No, that’s not it.

d.: I saw you run across the field to my house, so maybe you're trying to lose weight. Well, I don’t think that you’ve any lost weight yet, but you’re a small cat, anyway, with a lot of fur. Did you lose a couple of pounds under all that fur?

C.: No, I still weigh seven and one-half pounds.

d.: Did you get a tail extension, then? You already had a long tail. I’ll bet you were nervous anytime you went into a room full of rocking chairs.

C.: No, my tail is still the same length.

d.: Open your mouth and let me see if you got caps for your teeth.

C.: No, I didn’t do that, either.

d.: Well, did you have your ears clipped, then?

C.: No, that would hurt.

d.: Let me see your paws. It doesn’t look like you did anything different with your claws, either. So, if you didn’t do anything to your claws, ears, tail teeth or fur, and you didn’t lose weight and didn’t get a tail extensions…wait, did you get contact lenses or have eye surgery to correct your vision?

C.: No, I didn’t do that, either.

d.: Well, I’m stumped. What change did you make before coming here today, Cal.E.?

C.: I changed my attitude!

d.:…That’s all the time we have for today, folks. Please join us tomorrow for another episode of Cal.E.’s Korner.
