d.: That meteor shower that has hit the Planet of the Talking Cats has messed up my transmissions for the last few days. I still can’t notify Cal.E. that Meow Z. Tongue is cheating for her rival in her quest to become the ruler of POTTC because she’s on the other side of the planet, and the meteor shower is still interfering with transmissions to that side of the planet. That does give me some time to think, though.
I need to come up with an idea. Since Cal.E. gave away my best idea about the cop/fireman/paramedic, I need to go in a different direction. Hmm… let’s see. “Lost” was a popular television show, and now there’s “Found,” which is also a good television show. Yes, that’s it! My show will be about a television stuntman who loses his job because the show he was working on was cancelled, so he moves back to his hometown, which is Houston, Texas. He decides to go back to college to finish his degree. He quit going to college when he was offered a part as a stuntman on a show when the director watched him play football for the college team, but he needs a college degree now to even get a job at a convenience store. While he’s in college, the stuntman needs a job to meet expenses, so he takes a campus job at the lost and found. That’s what I’ll call my script: “Lost & Found.”
The stuntman gets bored, so he decides to resume his college career in football. He’s good, so he gets a Name, Image and Likeness deal, but he keeps his job at the campus lost and found because he likes the job. He graduates but isn’t drafted into the NFL because he’s now in his thirties, and the NFL doesn’t want rookies who are that old. As a result, he goes to Canada to play in the CFL but hurts his knee and is cut from the CFL team. He then comes back to Houston. While he’s trying to figure out what he wants to do with his life, he takes a job as a security guard in the Texas Medical Center. He admires the doctors so much that he decides to go to medical school. Since he had a 4.0 average in biomedical engineering, he gets in after he passes the MCAT test with flying colors.
After he gets out of med. School, the stuntman gets a job as an intern in the Texas Medical Center. However, interns aren’t paid very well, so he gets an apartment in the Third Ward of Houston, which is close to the Texas Medical Center. He doesn’t like all the crime being committed in the Third Ward, so he dons a mask and fights crime by night and works as a doctor during the day. As a vigilante, he specializes in returning stolen items to theft victims, telling them that he found the stolen item at the lost and found section of the local university, where he formerly worked.
Now, I just need to come up with an idea for the next episode after the pilot….
