C.: d.c., do you have time to talk?
d.: Not right now, Cal.E., I'm driving to the pharmacy.
C.: Why?
d.: Because some of my prescriptions are messed up and I need to find a way to get them until I can see my doctor.
C.: How do you plan to do that?
d.: Oh, the pharmacist said the she could give me some loner pills until I can see my doctor and he can straighten my prescription out.
C.: Come again?
d.: I'm driving to the pharmacy to get some loner pills. I'm out of one of my meds, and it's an important one.
C.: Did Eudora come back from her cruise?
d.: No, why?
C.: Won’t she be upset if you use those pills while she’s not there?
d.: Why would she care if I used some loner blood pressure medication?
C.: Blood pressure medication? I’m confused.
d.: Well, the pharmacist said she could give me a few pills from my new prescription, but not the whole bottle until the doctor can refill my prescription.
C.: OH, loner pills! I thought you said something else
d.: What did you think I said?
C.:…That’s all the time we have for today, folks. Please join us tomorrow for another episode of Cal.E.’s Korner.
