C.: D.C. where have you been for the last three days? I was expecting a script from you to publish on our blog.

D.: I’m sorry, Cal.E., but along with work and school assignments I also must prepare for another surgical procedure.

C.:  A minor one, I hope.

D.: Cal.E., the only minor surgery there is involves someone else, not you!

C.: I suppose that’s true. When did you get through doing that?

D.: Thursday.

C.: Well, then why didn’t you send me a script yesterday?

D.: Well, after I talked to the surgeon, Sawbones and Eudora

had a closed door session. Afterward, she drove me to the bank and had me sign a lot of papers that began with “in case of death.”…..Should I be worried?

C.: ……..That’s all the time we have for today, folks. That’s the end of this cat ta(i)le.
