D.: (Knock, knock, knock) Calculating Einstein Katt. It’s me.,, D.C. Scott, your best human friend and co-blogger. (Knock, knock, knock) Calculating Einstein Katt. It’s me.,, D.C. Scott, your best human friend and co-blogger. (Knock, knock, knock) Calculating Einstein Katt. It’s me.,, D.C. Scott, your best human friend and co-blogger.

C.: Who is it?

D.: D.C. Scott, your best human friend, and co-blogger. Please open the door. It’s raining out here (as it always is when I walk to Wayne Manor,

for some strange reason).

C.: Well, if it really is D.C. Scott, author, nurse, and content creator, you would know the password to enter this house.

D.: CAL.E!!! OPEN THE DING DANG DOOR NOW!

C.: Oh, hi, D.C. Have you been waiting for long?

D.: you know how long I’ve been waiting….

C.: AGGH! Cough, cough. Excuse me, I just had to get rid of a hairball.

D.: That’s from licking all that fur. I thought a space alien cat would have a better way of cleaning herself than the archaic way Earth cats clean themselves, by licking. I suppose humans are just more advanced than cats on your planet are.

C.: D.C., what do you use to clean yourself with?

D.: Soap, of course.

C.: Well, if soap is so clean, why does it leave a residue, known as soap scum,

if the shower isn’t cleaned thoroughly enough?

D.: Well…

C.: And why  do humans drive on a parkway and park on a driveway? What’s up with that?

D.: Hmm…

C.: And don’t get me started on the rodeo…

D.: Now hold on, Cal.E. The rodeo is a tribute to how ranchers and cowboys formerly lived. My dad and uncle had to rope calves, then bulldog them to the ground and brand them in case they got out of the fence. To avoid injury, they tied the calves’ legs. And my grandfather broke horses as a side hustle because he didn’t make enough money off of ranching and farming to feed his five kids…

C.: All that may be true, D.C., and I’ll drop the subject if you can answer one question for me.

D.: Okay.

C.: What “intelligent” human looked at a snorting, 1800-pound bull and said,” I think a can ride him,” and for what purpose?

Ferdinand the bull

D.:……..That’s all the time we have for today, folks. That’s the end of this cat ta(i)le.

Please join us next time for another edition of Cal.E.’s Korner.
