C.: I know my kittens have only been gone a couple of days, but I miss them. I’m going to go to their training facility with my youngest male kitten, Ralph the Bass Player and offer them some food and conversation.

Later that same day…

C.: Hi, Sixto; your brother Ralph, is home from his NIKE tour with Ralph

and the RoCKats.

They played the back allies in Navasota, Indian Springs, Klien and Egypt to packed houses every night.

But, enough about that, how are you doing, Sixto?'

Sixto: Fine

Ralph and I thought that y’all might be hungry for some home cooking, so Ralph has some tuna tartar for you to enjoy. Are you hungry?

Sixto: Yes.

C.: Here you go.

Sixto: Thanks.

C.: How is training going?:

S.: Fine.

C.: How do you feel after training?

S.: Tired.

C.: I see that T and d.c. outfitted you with some new shoes. How do they feel?

S.: Good.

C.: Well, it looks like T and d.c. spared no expense for those shoes. How many events are you entered in for the Cat Olympics, Sixto?

S.: Six.

C.: My goodness, that’s the limit of how many events you can enter in the Cat Olympics. Do you think you can do all of them?

S.: Yes.

C.: Well, it was nice talking to you, Sixto. I see your youngest sister, Jodi, who is here, so I’ll talk to you later.

S.: Bye.

C.: Jodi, your brother Ralph the Bass Player has some delicious tuna tartar for you to enjoy—

Jodi: GAG ME WITH A FISH BONE!! That fish is NOT cooked. I can’t eat that!

C.: Well, that’s all the food we brought, but I see that d.c. and T. spared no expense for y’alls shoes for the Cat Olympics. Do you like your new shoes, Jodi?

J.: Well, I know that T  and d.c. meant well, but these shoes aren’t the brand I usually wear, so they are a little tight in the toe box, and loose at the heel—

C.: Maybe you should back your food up a little?

J.: Oh, okay. That is better.

C.: How is everything else?

J.: Well, they are supplying us with bottled water, but it’s not the brand I usually drink. And, the beds are okay, except that mine is a couple of millimeters too high. And..I know that d.c. and T mean well, but I need my ten hours of sleep at night and four to six hours of sleep in the daytime. They have us training six hours a day, so that leaves me little time to look like this.

This doesn’t just happen, you know.

C.: Well, I see. Jodi, how many events are you entered in for the Cat Olympics?

J.: Oh, I’m not entered in any events, I’m the H2O engineer!
