C.: d.c. I have been trying to reach you. Where have you been?
d.: I was at work Cal.E.
C.: I thought that you were retiring from your two nursing jobs, what happened?
d.: I WAS going to retire, but my truck was on “empty.” I had to fill it up with gas. There went thirty years of savings!
C.: I am glad that I don’t have to drive anywhere. I can sneak onto a flatbed truck or something like that when I need to go a long distance.
d.: Aren’t you afraid that you will get caught by one of the two “triple T’s” who are pursuing you?
C.: I disabled the tracking device on my phone. Those two are not smart enough to use…gotta go. I hear “The Tuxedo” coming my way!
d.: Before you go, may I continue sharing your journal entries with our readers?
C.: Yes, d.c. Do whatever you want. I guess T. is smarter than I thought, or he just got lucky. IDK which. It does not matter. I must go NOW! TTYL d.c.
d.: Okay, Cal.E. I will talk to you later.
And now, day thirteen of Cal.E.’s Corner
Day thirteen on this strange planet called “Earth.”
I was caught by someone called an “animal control officer.” He put me in this awful place called “The Kennel.” Fortunately, I met a nurse who can talk to animals. His name is d.c. scot. He and I talked, and he came up with a solution to my problem. He said that his best friend and his best friend’s wife were looking for a pet for their oldest son. d.c. called his friend, who came to look at me with his son. They decided to take me home. It is a nice place. Mom and Dad, as I am allowed to call them, foster both human hairless kittens as well as animals (even dogs!) I will be able to relax here and continue my plan to take over this planet for my species.
“Big Red,” as I call him, has two brothers. “Blue Eyes,” the second oldest may be helpful with my quest. He likes animals and is very interested in the military. He may aid me in my quest. “Curly” is not ready to help anyone do anything yet! He is still small, and likes to chase me and pull my tail. Blue Eyes and Big Red, as well as Mom and Dad, try to discourage him from doing this. I do not think he is a mean person, he just likes to have fun. Chasing me into the garage is his idea of fun.
The other two of my adopted brothers, though, may be useful. They are both intelligent and can be used to rebel against the human taskmasters who enslave animals. Neither wants to do what Mom and Dad say. They would probably listen to me if I could only communicate with them. I CANNOT tell d.c. what I have in mind, though. He works for something called “The Government,” just as Mom and Dad do. I MUST get through to my two oldest brothers, but how? It is a perplexing dilemma with no immediate answer. (I need to stop reading so many of d.c.’s books. I am beginning to sound like a character in one of his books.)
Tune in tomorrow, y’all, when we find out if Cal.E. is successful in convincing Big Red and Blue Eyes to help her take over the Earth and enslave humans for the good of cats!
